Abstract: Listening comprehension is set to become a significant task as well as an obstacle for many second language learners. It requires applying effectively appropriate strategies in the learning process. This study examines teachers’ perceptions and their practices of teaching L2 listening skills with the use of note-taking strategies. This research was conducted using mixed-method design, which means collecting data from questionnaires and semi-structured interviews with participation of fifty-one teachers working at CTU and CTC. The findings of this study reveal that teachers perceived positively towards the effectiveness of note-taking strategies in teaching listening comprehension. On the other hand, both teachers and students claimed several obstacles while utilizing a new instructional approach. Pedagogical implications are discussed in further studies on a larger or wider context (Vo, 2023).
